Our country is going through bleak moments and difficult times in which the youth

continue to loose their lives which led to the increase in the number of victims of the protests that lasted for years and for reasons related to short-sightedness in determining the real causes of the crisis and not organizing the priorities, which wasted valuable time and missed the goals of the revolution and the various important chances because of narrow political opportunities,

The Democratic Unionist Party – the Original (DUP-O) welcomes the decisions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the President of the Transitional Sovereign Council Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.
The military component should not be a party to the dialogue. It should provide a full opportunity for the civilians among themselves to sit together collectively and produce solutions that lead to the formation of a
government of full civilian competencies.
The DUP-O considers that this is an opportunity and a new window for the political
forces to end a phase and start a new chapter in which the democratic transition can be completed through a comprehensive national accord.
